A New Brunswick court decision has overruled the CFO’s policy of requiring an applicant to belong to a gun club in order to obtain a (long-term) Authorization To Transport (ATT). The same case also overruled the policy of only issuing a ‘province-wide’ ATT without an invitation to an out-of-province event. Download the decision here.
We are providing this information in order to assist any other gun-owner, or their legal counsel, to challenge the policies of the CFOs in other provinces. RFOCBC will not, for financial reasons, be a party to any challenges to these CFO policies.
